Guide for ordering
Specification:
Cold rolled steel sheets are produced in various grades in accordance to standards. Select the most suitable specification depended on intended use among the standards and order your desired production.
Dimension:
Thickness is increased or decreased in increments of 0.1 mm, as a rule but can be reduced to increment of 0.05 mm in special cases. Width and length can be specified in increments of 1 mm.
Packing:
Specify the packing mass in consideration of unloading capacity and working condition.

• Cut sheets: normally 2 tons or more is standard.
• Coils: normally available from 5 tons to 20 tons.

Specify the maximum weight (and minimum weight if necessary)
Coil OD/ID
For coils inside diameter of 508mm(20 inch) or 610 mm(24 inch) are standard, Specify the maximum outside diameter(if necessary).
Temper Grade
Specify the standard temper grade, or select one from among the “four hardness grade”.
Surface Finish
Specify either “dull finish” or “bright finish”.

 

Oiling
Specify either “oiled” or “unoiled”. Normally rust-prevention oiled products are produced.
Reversal Use
Normally appearance quality is guaranteed for the top side of cut sheets. If the guaranteed side is to be the reverse side of the end product, or if the both side become the face side of the end product specify beforehand.
Edge Finishing
Specify “slit edge” depending on the condition of use. Slit edge are recommended specially when the delivered product is used as rolled without further processing, thus required edge finishing, or when strict width tolerance are required.
Weld Portion
Cold rolled coils may contain the welds made in the pickling line, since such welds may sometimes be hard, vary in thickness or be detrimental to use, it is recommended that they be removed at the costumer’s shop. If the removal of such portion is difficult, specify “no weld portion”. In that case, however, the available coil mass is limited, if the marking of weld portion is required, so specify beforehand.
Application
Seven-diamonds steel complex through quality control over the entire process manufacturing so as to make ordered products suit the customer intended use. When placing an order, then the customer should give the information necessary for quality control, such as intended use and method fabrication.
Other
Dimensional accuracy shapes and other requirements are usually within the standard range. Sometime other condition may require more rigorous specification. In such cases consult us beforehand to identify needed specification.
